The world has become complex. Every day, information overload greets us on countless, highly fragmented channels that are subject to constant, technology-driven change. Add to this the pandemic-accelerated value shift and the related desire for a clear, human attitude from others: Et voilà, these are the ingredients that have shaped the rebranding of Department of Noise.

Ph!L!pp Schweidler, partner at DoN: «Emotionally open and inspired people are the driving force for social progress - and thus the key to a successful future. This is what we want to contribute to with our work: by helping to communicate values and ambitions clearly and emotionally and to make them tangible. The shift in brand perception is long since a reality: away from rational engagement, toward an emotional experience.»

Translating these ambitions into a visual result was the challenge faced by German-Bulgarian branding agency, Fiction. They successfully created a multi-layered system that depicts the DoN brand in the right light – objective and bold, yet undeniably human. Sofia Dimitrova, partner at Fiction, says «The main inspiration of DoN's visual language was the superimposition of sound and light waves and how we perceive them. With the multi-layered design concept developed from this, the brand can be expressed in a flexible way.»
Florian Goetze, Partner at DoN, added: «Fiction managed to stage our brand in an incredibly natural way. Well done! And sitting on the client side of a branding process for once was a very enlightening experience for us.»
